Urea Reactor Extension

DropNooter Construction extended a urea reactor at the Belle Plaine plant in Sackatchewan, Canada. The scope of work required the removal of the top head before attaching the layered shell and head extension assembly onto the existing shell, extending the existing vessel by 16 feet to a total overall length of 146 feet.

Additional work included the installation of two trays and other internals as well as the replacement of the nozzle in the bottom head.
